Based on project based learning, experiential learning (EL) and service learning pedagogies and taught by a multi-disciplinary faculty team, this course allows the students to work in interdisciplinary teams to encounter problems, discuss issues, explore alternatives, and propose creative solutions.
This course will serve as an exercise in creative problem solving that will expand student understanding of form and space by thinking about film. The goal of this course is for students to come to understand physical and phenomenal space through investigating film space. By viewing films, reading, writing, diagramming, drawing, and making 3D models, you will learn to make connections between seemingly unrelated topics such as text, photography, art, architecture, digital media and film.
